Log in to Beanstack! BrainFuse eLearning Help

Please note that our volunteer program is currently on hold due to the pandemic. We very much appreciate your interest, but we will not be able to welcome our volunteers back until health guidelines allow us to do so.

Earn service hours for school and help your community by volunteering at the library!

Volunteers need to be at least 14. Paper applications are available at the lower floor desk of the library, or you can download an application below.

Shelving Volunteer

We need teen volunteers year round to help shelve books and keep the children's area tidy and vibrant.

Volunteering as a shelver is great for people who are detail-oriented, organized, and prefer to set their own schedule.

Turn in your application and attend a monthly orientation to begin as a shelving volunteer!

Summer Reading Volunteer

We need volunteers to dedicate 2-6 hours a week during June and July to assist with the library's Summer Reading Program.

Volunteers staff Summer Reading HQ all hours the library is open - you select the shifts that work best for you. Volunteers help youth and families sign up for the Summer Reading Program using Beanstack, our online program, as well as redeem prizes, promote library events, and encourage learning throughout the summer.

Volunteering with Summer Reading is great for people who enjoy helping children and youth, are excited about reading, and are comfortable using computers.

Turn in your application and attend one of our Summer Reading Orientations to begin as a Summer Reading volunteer! Orientations will be announced in May.
