Koth Gallery The gallery begins the 2008-09 season with the annual judged exhibit by members of the Columbian Artists Association. The show runs August 21-September 10. The image below by CAA member Linda McCord is titled "Lipstick" and measures 14 by 20 inches.

Fall Youth Programs: Summer's over, school is back in session, and that means it's time for Fall Story and Craft activities at the library. This season's theme is READ & Write Your Own Story! Programs begin September 23; register online now. For more information about these programs, contact Youth Services at 442.5301.
E-mail Notices: LPL now offers another way to communicate about items you have on hold or that are overdue. If you would prefer to receive hold and overdue notices by e-mail instead of telephone, just let a staff member know the next time you visit the library. We'll be happy to make the change for you.
Project READ Needs Tutors: There is a waiting list of adults hoping to improve their skills in reading, English, and preparing for their GED or citizenship interviews. Could you be a tutor for one of them? Learn more about Project Read.
