in June

Holiday Closure: The Library will be closed for Independence Day, Friday, July 4. We will resume normal hours on Saturday. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday!

Catch the Reading Bug! Summer Reading has begun! Sign up now at the library or online to track your reading for fun and prizes. Summer Reading programs and special events run through July 30. These events require no registration; just show up!

Teen Summer Reading: Middle and high school students are invited to kick off Metamorphosis, the Teen Summer Reading Program, with a rock concert on the evening of June 24 on the LPL lawn. Summer Reading events continue through July 24. Sign up now in the Teen Space or online to track your reading for cool prizes and lots of fun!

Project Read Needs Tutors: There is a waiting list of adults hoping to improve their skills in reading, English, and preparing for their GED or citizenship interviews. Could you be a tutor for one of them? To learn more about Project Read, click here.
